Dorit Kemsley Seeks Court Order to Prevent Home Sale Amid Mortgage Dispute with Estranged Husband

Resumen

Reality-TV star Dorit Kemsley alleges her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, has stopped paying the mortgage on their Los Angeles home and is requesting the court block a proposed sale while she seeks increased child and spousal support.

Dorit Kemsley, a cast member of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," has asked a judge to deny her estranged husband PK Kemsley's request to sell the family home, arguing that he has failed to make mortgage payments since moving out in May 2024. Court filings submitted by Kemsley's attorney, Samantha Spector, contend that PK agreed to cover the mortgage and related expenses in lieu of formal child support but has not fulfilled that obligation, prompting foreclosure notices.

The documents detail PK's alleged expenditures, including $756,000 over several months on travel, clothing, dining, and cash withdrawals, and assert that he has sufficient income and assets to address the mortgage arrears. Kemsley is seeking $21,000 per month in child support, $22,000 per month in spousal support, $347,000 in retroactive payments, and a $40,000 sanction for PK's conduct in court.

Kemsley also addressed accusations that she overspent on wardrobe for the show, stating that the clothing purchases were necessary for filming and that many items were later returned or credited. She maintains that the mortgage issue is a deliberate tactic to pressure her and their children.

The dispute follows Kemsley's filing for divorce in April 2025 and ongoing litigation between the former spouses.
