Chiefs pass-game coordinator Bleymaier gives health update and offensive outlook at training camp
Pass-game coordinator Joe Bleymaier said Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes showed no knee issues and highlighted running back Kenneth Walker’s playmaking ability, while praising the development of backup quarterbacks during the sixth day of training camp at Missouri Western State University. The Chiefs' 2026 training camp opened earlier in the week at the same university, featuring rookie cornerback Mansoor Delane’s first practice and injury updates on defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott and tight end John Michael Gyllenborg, according to ESPN. Subsequent sessions saw rookie wide receiver Cyrus Allen earn Mahomes’ trust, rookie offensive tackle Kahlil Benson receive praise for his physical tools, and coaches evaluate defensive versatility and manage injuries, as reported by Arrowhead Pride.
