Sean "Diddy" Combs Sent to Solitary Confinement at FCI Fort Dix After Prison Fight
Sean "Diddy" Combs was placed in disciplinary segregation at the federal prison in Fort Dix, New Jersey, following a recent inmate brawl, and will face restricted privileges according to the facility’s handbook.
Sean "Diddy" Combs has been moved to disciplinary segregation, commonly known as solitary confinement, at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, after a violent altercation with another inmate last week. The prison’s Admission and Orientation Inmate Handbook outlines the conditions he will face, including the loss of certain privileges and the possible confiscation of personal belongings.
While in the Special Housing Unit, Combs will receive basic items such as a blanket, mattress, pillow, toilet paper and shaving supplies. He is permitted to keep reading material, including legal and religious books, and will be visited daily by a staff doctor, even on weekends and holidays.
Visitation rights are limited to one social visit per week, provided he remains eligible, and he will receive regular updates on his housing status. The handbook also informs him of his rights and responsibilities, detailing prohibited conduct and a disciplinary severity scale that could affect his good-conduct time.
"Inmates placed in disciplinary segregation are denied certain privileges and may have personal property taken away," the handbook states.
The move to solitary confinement reflects the Bureau of Prisons’ standard response to rule violations involving violence.
