Dodgers say Ohtani's bullpen work canceled as knee recovery stalls
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Shohei Ohtani missed a scheduled bullpen session on as knee inflammation stalled his recovery, and the club expects him to return to pitching later in the season. Roberts had earlier announced that Ohtani would not start on against the Phillies because of a lingering knee issue, leaving his return timeline uncertain.
AOL. com reported that the left-knee discomfort effectively ended his bid for the Cy Young Award this season.
