Erling Haaland Returns to Oslo with Texas Taxidermied Raccoon
Norwegian striker Erling Haaland bought a taxidermied raccoon and other Western souvenirs in Dallas during Norway’s World Cup round-of-32 match, the Los Angeles Times reported. The raccoon, displayed holding a bottle, later appeared on his return trip to Oslo after Norway’s quarter-final defeat. Vogue noted that Haaland arrived in Oslo carrying the Dolce & Gabbana tote and the taxidermied raccoon, while USA Today described the souvenir as holding a whiskey bottle.
Euronews confirmed the raccoon, purchased in the United States, was part of his luggage following the quarter-final loss. Bored Panda reported that the unusual souvenir sparked a surge in sales for the Dallas store and generated a wave of online memes.
