Mark Cuban sues Mavericks owners over Valley View arena info

Former Dallas Mavericks majority owner Mark Cuban filed a petition in Dallas County court seeking details on the Valley View arena project, alleging he was excluded from development opportunities promised in the sale agreement, according to the Dallas News. The petition targets the ownership group led by Miriam Adelson and Patrick Dumont, who acquired the team in a recent sale. Cuban alleges the owners have not provided him with information on how the arena will be financed or the corporate entities involved.

He also claims the sale agreement promised him participation in arena development opportunities that were never offered. The court filing seeks a full disclosure of the financing plan, corporate structure and contractual terms related to the Valley View project, the report says.
