Founder of Johnson Products, George E. Johnson Sr., Dies at 99

George E. Johnson Sr. , founder of Johnson Products Company, died at his Chicago home at age 99, ABC News reported. He was 99 years old at the time of his death.

He founded Johnson Products, a Black hair-care brand. The company later became the first Black-owned firm listed on the American Stock Exchange. Johnson Products was recognized as a pioneering Black hair-care company.
