In-N-Out Burger announces six new restaurants in five states

Summary

The fast-food chain will add six locations across California, Arizona, Utah, Tennessee, and Idaho, while its CEO reiterated no plans for East Coast expansion.

In-N-Out Burger said it will open six new restaurants in five states over the coming months. The planned sites include a store in Madison, Tennessee, a location in San Tan Valley, Arizona, another in St. George, Utah, a restaurant in Stockton, California, and a venue in Twin Falls, Idaho, in addition to a second address in Commerce, California. The chain recently opened its second-largest restaurant by seating capacity on the Las Vegas Strip on June 9 and a new outlet in Timnath, Colorado, on June 25.

"We won't compromise on quality just to expand," CEO Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson told a Pepperdine University audience on March 31, adding that she does not foresee any East Coast openings during her lifetime. She also dismissed the prospect of introducing online ordering and pickup. The company has previously announced a plan to open a store in New Mexico by 2027, extending its presence beyond its traditional California base.
