Mint Mobile cuts prepaid plans to $15 amid Pixel shortage
According to 9to5Google, Mint Mobile launched a promotion offering its prepaid plans for $15 a month to new customers, while its website no longer listed Google Pixel phones because stock was depleted. The $15 price applies to all of the carrier’s prepaid plans, making the service uniformly inexpensive for anyone signing up. Only new subscribers are eligible for the reduced rate, as existing customers retain their current pricing.
The removal of Pixel devices from the site reflects a complete shortage of the phones in Mint Mobile’s inventory. The promotion and the inventory issue were reported together, indicating the carrier’s response to limited device availability.
