Trump family’s filing reveals over $1 billion crypto earnings
The Trump family disclosed more than $1 billion in cryptocurrency earnings in a filing with the Office of Government Ethics, NPR reported. The 927-page document, submitted as part of the required annual financial disclosure, lists earnings for Donald Trump and his immediate relatives for the prior year. According to the filing, the family earned over $500 million from the cryptocurrency firm World Liberty Financial.
It also shows roughly $600 million derived from a series of meme-style digital tokens that feature Trump’s image. The disclosure, which is publicly available through the ethics office, provides a detailed breakdown of the crypto holdings and related income.
