A used Nintendo Wii console without accessories or packaging generally sells for around $50, matching listings on major auction sites. When the console is sold with its original box, Wii Remote, Nunchuk, "Wii Sports" game and cables in mint condition, prices rise to $300 or more. Graded, unopened units command even higher values; a single graded Wii sold for $800 in the past year, more than double the price of an ungraded new unit.
Special-edition models such as the black Wii, the 2010 red Mario anniversary edition, and the Wii Mini are priced slightly above the standard white console. Loose black or red units typically fetch about $90, while brand-new or graded examples can exceed $600. The Wii Mini, which lacks internet and GameCube support, sells for $50-$60 for the console alone and over $100 with accessories or original packaging.
Although the Wii’s resale value is modest compared to its original $250 launch price, certain Wii games retain higher market demand. Titles that have not been reissued, including "Silent Hill: Shattered Memories," "Metroid Prime Trilogy," "Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn" and "Rhythm Heaven Fever," often sell for $80 or more per disc. Some music-game bundles, such as "The Beatles: Rock Band" and "Rock Band 2," can fetch $200 or more, and "Michael Jackson: The Experience" copies are currently listed at $50-$80.
