Capcom advances release of Onimusha: Way of the Sword to September 4
Capcom announced that the upcoming action game Onimusha: Way of the Sword will launch on September 4, earlier than the previously scheduled September 25 date.
Capcom said the sword-play action title Onimusda: Way of the Sword will now be released on September 4, moving up from the earlier September 25 launch window. The game is set in an Edo-era Kyoto altered by a supernatural force known as Malice, and follows a samurai who wields the Oni Gauntlet to combat the Genma, demonic enemies from Japanese folklore. The title continues the series’ focus on precise counter-attack mechanics that have defined previous installments since the franchise debuted in 2001. Capcom did not provide further details on gameplay or pricing at this time.
