Sharks trade for defenseman Darnell Nurse from Oilers

NHL. com reported that the San Jose Sharks acquired defenseman Darnell Nurse from the Edmonton Oilers in a trade. The Sharks received Nurse, a veteran blueliner, to bolster their defensive corps.

In return, Edmonton obtained forward prospect Nikita Mukhamadullin. The Oilers also received the rights to prospect Wyatt Sharp as part of the agreement. The transaction was described as a multi-player deal between the two clubs.
