The New York Rangers have dealt center Vincent Trocheck to the Utah Mammoth, receiving defenseman Sean Durzi, forward prospect Cole Beaudoin and a third-round pick in the 2027 draft. Trocheck, 32, is under contract through the 2028-29 season with an annual cap hit of $5.625 million and entered the trade with a 10-team no-trade list after previously being on a 12-team list. He posted 53 points (16 goals, 37 assists) in 67 games last season and was a member of the United States team that captured gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan. The Rangers had previously considered moving him at the March trade deadline but retained him in hopes of a better return. Over four seasons in New York, Trocheck accumulated 253 points in 313 games, averaging more than 20 minutes of ice time per game.
