Collin Gosselin alleges his mother withheld earnings from reality-TV show

Summary

Collin Gosselin says court documents show he received only a fraction of the money owed to him and his siblings from the family’s TLC series, and he is seeking answers from his mother, Kate Gosselin.

Collin Gosselin, 22, told a podcast on June 27 that he believes he and his seven siblings are owed substantial sums from the family’s reality-TV program, "Jon & Kate Plus 8." He said he has reviewed court filings that, in his view, indicate he received only a small portion of a collective fund that was meant for the children.

"I want to ask Kate where all the money disappeared in the court documents while she's hooked up to a polygraph," Collin said, adding that he plans to release the documents he possesses. He claimed the fund was distributed unevenly, with larger amounts allegedly going to the children who live with their mother and only "scraps" reaching him. "The payment I received helped me with my first year of college, but there’s probably money still owed in my name," he said. Collin first raised the issue on Instagram in September, asking his mother to take a lie-detector test amid unrelated speculation about her relationship with a former family bodyguard. Kate Gosselin’s attorney declined to comment when approached for a response. In August, Kate posted on TikTok that she works as a pediatric home-health nurse and that legal costs from her divorce and custody battles have depleted her savings, though she did not address Collin’s specific allegations.
