Estonia Discovers Heavy Machine Guns on Russian LNG Vessel
Estonian border officials discovered two heavy machine guns and specially prepared firing positions aboard the Gazprom-owned LNG carrier Marshal Vasilevskiy. The weapons were located in designated positions on the vessel's deck. The find was reported during a routine inspection near Estonia's maritime border.
Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation warned that the discovery suggests Russia is militarizing its shadow fleet. The incident raised concerns about the possible use of civilian LNG carriers for military purposes.
