Former Titans scout found guilty of killing girlfriend and unborn child
A Nashville jury found former Tennessee Titans scout Blaise Taylor guilty of murdering his girlfriend Jade Benning and her unborn child, ESPN reported. The verdict includes a second-degree murder charge for Benning, a first-degree murder charge for the unborn child, and two counts of first-degree felony murder. Taylor, who previously played defensive back at Arkansas State, had been hired by the Titans as a scout.
The trial concluded in the Nashville courtroom after weeks of testimony. Sentencing has not yet been set.
