Australian man charged with murder after teen's body found in suitcase in Thailand
Thai police detained a 45-year-old Australian citizen and charged him with murder after the body of 17-year-old Tunchanok Donhomla was found in a suitcase near a railway line in Pattaya, the BBC reported. The suspect was taken into custody at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, The New York Times said. CCTV footage later showed the man transporting the suitcase, according to the New York Post.
Thai authorities confirmed the homicide charge and said the investigation is ongoing. They indicated that further forensic analysis will be conducted to determine the circumstances of the teen’s death.
