Taylor Swift and Travis Kelke to Wed at Madison Square Garden Amid High Security and Celebrity Attendance

Madison Square Garden in New York is preparing for a wedding ceremony scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Eastern time, featuring pop singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The couple arrived in black SUVs for a rehearsal dinner on Thursday, where close friends such as Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff were seen entering the venue.

Security measures have been described as comparable to a military operation, with a covered gazebo used to shield guests from the press and approximately 135 New York police officers deployed across the two-day event. The rehearsal dinner, held in the Infosys Theater, accommodated about 100 guests, while the main celebration on Friday is expected to host up to 1,000 attendees.

A spokesperson for the couple said they have donated $26 million to more than 20 charitable organizations, including food banks, children’s hospitals and music-education programs, in the days leading up to the wedding.

"We are thrilled to support these causes that are close to our hearts," the representative said.

Reports have surfaced suggesting the pair may have already exchanged vows in a private ceremony, but no official confirmation has been provided. The event is slated to run until the early morning hours, with a cocktail hour preceding the ceremony and a reception to follow.
