Vanilla Ice Show Canceled at Trump’s Freedom 250 Festival Due to Weather

Summary

The final act of Donald Trump’s Freedom 250 concert series, featuring Vanilla Ice, was called off hours before the performance because of thunderstorms, leaving the event without any remaining performers.

Almost all performers slated for the Freedom 250 concert series, organized by former President Donald Trump, have withdrawn from the lineup. Lee Greenwood opened the series on June 25, and the only remaining act, Vanilla Ice, was forced to cancel his show on June 26 after thunderstorms moved into the area.

"The safety of our guests, staff, and partners remains our top priority. We are actively monitoring conditions and will provide updates as they become available," the event’s official account said on X. Vanilla Ice had previously promoted the concert on social media, describing it as a "great party" and "epic." His drummer, Trent Laugerman, posted on Instagram that the cancellation was due to the severe weather and expressed disappointment but not anger. The festival originally planned to feature acts such as Milli Vanilli, Young MC and C+C Music Factory; with those acts withdrawn, only Flo Rida remains scheduled for a July 2 performance.
