Federal Jury Deadlocked Again in Palisades Fire Arson Trial
A federal jury in Los Angeles was unable to reach a verdict after two days of deliberations in the arson trial of former Uber driver Jonathan Rinderknecht, who is accused of starting the Palisades Fire, NBC News reported. The case centers on charges that Rinderknecht deliberately set the blaze that devastated the Palisades area. Jurors had previously indicated they might reach a decision, but the deliberations extended without consensus.
ABC7 Los Angeles later reported that the same jury, which had earlier announced a verdict, remained deadlocked, confirming that no decision had been reached. The court scheduled further deliberations, leaving the trial unresolved.
