Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw slated to perform at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding
A permit filing suggests the ceremony will be held at Madison Square Garden on July 3, with Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks and country star Tim McGraw among the performers.
A New York City permit filed in early June indicates that pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelche plan to hold their wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3. The filing, obtained by the New York Times, requests street closures and a temporary structure to accommodate 500 to 999 guests.
Sources told Page Six that Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw have been selected to perform at the event. Nicks, who previously collaborated with Swift and contributed a poem to Swift’s 2024 album, expressed support for the couple, saying Swift “is in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man.”
McGraw’s connection to Swift dates back to her 2006 debut single titled “Tim McGraw.” The wedding venue, located above Penn Station, is currently free of scheduled events between June 29 and July 6, allowing for a private ceremony that could include a tent or canopy inside the arena.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani confirmed the city’s readiness to host the celebration, noting that the event coincides with the July 4 holiday and the nation’s 250th anniversary. City officials said the NYPD will provide security throughout the three-day weekend.
Several Kansas City Chiefs personnel have reportedly booked rooms at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square for the dates surrounding the wedding.
