Four Round of 32 fixtures are slated for Friday, July 3, as the 2026 FIFA World Cup reaches its second knockout day. Australia will open the day against Egypt at 2 p.m. ET in Dallas, with the match televised on FOX and available for three days free on FOX One. Australia advanced from Group D with four points, while Egypt moved on from Group G with five points but may be without captain Mohamed Salah, who left the group-stage match against Iran with a hamstring strain. Head coach Hossam Hassan said the team remains optimistic about Salah’s availability.
At 6 p.m. ET, Lionel Messi’s Argentina will play Cape Verde in Miami. Argentina topped Group J with multi-goal victories and has won its last ten matches, with Messi tied for the tournament lead with six goals. Cape Verde finished second in Group H after three draws, including a scoreless match against Spain. Goalkeeper Vozinha has received praise for his performances.
The final match of the day begins at 9:30 p.m. ET in Kansas City, where Colombia faces Ghana. Colombia secured first place in Group K after wins over Uzbekistan and DR Congo and a draw with Portugal, featuring an attack led by Luis Díaz and James Rodríguez. Ghana qualified as a third-place team from Group L and will rely on a defensive strategy under coach Carlos Queiroz.
All three games will be shown on FOX and streamed live and on demand on FOX One.
