Sources indicate that interest in acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo remains speculative, with Miami positioned as the leading contender while the Bucks seek additional assets. The Celtics have not confirmed any negotiations and are said to consider any offer involving Jaylen Brown and a high draft pick as unlikely unless the Antetokounmpo discussion advances.

"We must acknowledge the undeniable rumbles in circulation Wednesday that the Celtics, weary of incessant speculation about a Giannis-to-Boston deal featuring Jaylen Brown, are getting frustrated with the process," said NBA reporter Marc Stein.

"I am not a believer that Jaylen Brown is not going to be a Celtic at the start of the season… I believe there's a very good chance Jaylen Brown is staying put with Jayson Tatum," ESPN's Brian Windhorst added.

In addition to the marquee names, Boston has been linked to frontcourt targets.
