Amazon slashed prices on 15 laptops during Prime Day
Amazon offered steep discounts on a selection of laptops during its Prime Day sale on its online marketplace, listing 15 models from Dell, Microsoft, Apple, Lenovo, Samsung and other brands at reduced prices. CNET reported that in the days leading up to Prime Day, Amazon and other retailers cut prices on Apple products such as MacBooks, iPads and AirPods, with savings ranging from $30 to over $200. The outlet also noted that Amazon posted early price cuts on tablets from Apple, Samsung, Lenovo and other manufacturers.
Mashable said Amazon’s Prime Day sale featured notable price reductions on select MacBooks, Windows laptops and gaming notebooks, with discounts of up to $970. A later Mashable report specified that discounts on those laptops could reach $850. PCMag confirmed that by the end of Prime Day, Amazon listed 15 laptops with discounts ranging from 15 % to 40 %.
