Iran says Elon Musk's Middle East assets could become military targets

Iranian state news agency Fars said on Thursday that the Islamic Republic could consider all enterprises linked to Elon Musk in West Asia, such as SpaceX's Starlink ground stations, as military targets in retaliation against the United States. The report, posted on Fars' Telegram channel, quoted an "informed source" stating that Iran reserves the right to attack facilities associated with Musk-managed holdings in the region and occupied territories. The statement follows a series of recent exchanges between the United States and Iran, including U.S. strikes after Tehran was accused of downing a U.S. Army helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has previously warned U.S. technology firms, including Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft and Google. SpaceX and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to attack all facilities related to [Musk]-managed holdings in the region and occupied territories," the source said.
