New York Knicks erased a 29-point third-quarter hole to secure a 107-106 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday. OG Anunoby's late tip-in gave the Knicks the lead in the final seconds, completing the largest comeback in Finals history. Fans inside Madison Square Garden remained after the game to celebrate, and street celebrations spread throughout the city.
Ticket prices for the game averaged more than $3,300 after a price drop following the Knicks' loss in Game 3. The win moved the Knicks closer to their first championship since 1973 and their first Finals appearance since 1999.
A number of celebrities were present courtside, including Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, Larry David, Timothée Chalamet, Jerry Seinfeld, Jimmy Fallon, Adam Sandler and Taylor Swift, who was seen wearing a custom Knicks shirt.
Hall of Famer and ESPN analyst Charles Barkley criticized the Spurs' performance, saying the team made several mistakes that contributed to the loss.
