SpaceX Accelerates IPO Plans, Targets June 12 Nasdaq Listing
Elon Musk's SpaceX is expediting its initial public offering, aiming for a June 12 listing on Nasdaq under the ticker 'SPCX'.
Elon Musk's aerospace company, SpaceX, is advancing its initial public offering (IPO) timeline, now targeting a June 12 listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange under the ticker symbol 'SPCX'. The company plans to price its shares on June 11, with a roadshow launch slated for June 4.
SpaceX confidentially filed for the IPO in April, seeking a valuation of approximately $1.75 trillion. This move follows the company's acquisition of Musk's AI venture, xAI, earlier this year, aiming to enhance the combined entity's value.
Recent reports indicate that Google is in discussions with SpaceX to launch orbital data centers, aligning with Google's Project Suncatcher, which plans to deploy AI-equipped satellites into space starting in 2027. Additionally, SpaceX has partnered with AI company Anthropic, further highlighting its commitment to space-based AI computing.
The IPO is expected to be one of the largest in history, with SpaceX aiming to raise around $75 billion. The company has selected Nasdaq as its listing venue, seeking early inclusion in the Nasdaq 100 index.
As the IPO approaches, SpaceX continues to expand its operations, including the upcoming debut flight of its upgraded Starship V3 megarocket, scheduled for May 19, 2026.
