President Trump Arrives in Beijing with High-Level Delegation

President Donald Trump has arrived in Beijing for a state visit, accompanied by top administration officials and leading U.S. business executives. The delegation includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Notably, Secretary Rubio is participating despite previous Chinese sanctions imposed on him in 2020 over his comments on China's human rights record.

Joining the official party are Eric Trump, the president's middle son and executive of the Trump Organization, and his wife, Lara Trump. Their presence has raised questions about potential conflicts of interest, given their roles in managing the family's business ventures.

The business delegation features prominent figures such as Apple CEO Tim Cook, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, and Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg. Their inclusion underscores the administration's focus on strengthening economic ties and addressing trade issues between the United States and China.

This visit marks President Trump's second state visit to China, following his first in November 2017. The agenda includes discussions aimed at stabilizing U.S.-China relations and addressing ongoing disputes over economic policies, regional security, and technological competition.
