Trump Mobile's T1 Smartphone Faces Uncertain Release Amid Terms Update
Trump Mobile's updated terms indicate no obligation to produce or deliver the T1 smartphone, raising concerns among deposit-paying customers.
Trump Mobile's T1 smartphone, announced in June 2025, has yet to be released, and recent updates to the company's terms and conditions suggest it may never reach consumers. The updated terms state that a $100 deposit "does not guarantee that a Device will be produced or made available for purchase."
Despite approximately 590,000 customers placing deposits, the company clarifies that these payments do not constitute a purchase or contract, nor do they reserve specific inventory.
The terms also note that product specifications and pricing are subject to change, meaning customers may not receive the device they initially anticipated.
While Trump Mobile claims refunds are available, some customers report being informed that deposits are non-refundable, leading to mounting frustration among those awaiting the T1 smartphone.
