Résumé

The New York Knicks secured a 144-114 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, completing a series sweep and advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals.

The New York Knicks clinched a decisive 144-114 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, completing a 4-0 series sweep and advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals for the second consecutive year. The Knicks set an NBA postseason record by making 11 three-pointers in the first quarter and tied the record for most three-pointers in a playoff game with 25.

Deuce McBride, starting in place of the injured OG Anunoby, led the team with 25 points, hitting seven three-pointers, including four in the first quarter. Jalen Brunson added 22 points, while Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony Towns each contributed 17 points.

The Knicks dominated from the outset, leading 81-57 at halftime after making 18 three-pointers in the first half. Their average margin of victory through two playoff rounds stands at 19.4 points, the largest since the NBA expanded to 16 playoff teams in 1984.

Knicks fans were notably vocal at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, creating an atmosphere that resembled a home game for New York.

For the 76ers, Joel Embiid scored 24 points, and Tyrese Maxey added 17. Despite their efforts, Philadelphia was unable to advance past the second round for the 25th consecutive year.

The Knicks will face the winner of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons series in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Pistons currently lead that series 2-1.
