As of May 11, there have been seven confirmed cases and two probable cases associated with the outbreak.
In response, a global repatriation effort is underway. The ship arrived at the port of Granadilla, Tenerife, Canary Islands, on May 10, where disembarkation and repatriation flights commenced. Passengers and crew are being monitored and quarantined as necessary to prevent further spread of the virus.
