To qualify, passengers must provide their Spirit confirmation number and proof of purchase for travel between May 2 and 16, and enroll in United's MileagePlus loyalty program.

Southwest Airlines is offering set, flat fares at airport ticket counters for domestic flights, structured as follows: flights of 500 miles or less at $200 one-way, flights between 501 to 1,000 miles at $300 one-way, and flights over 1,000 miles at $400 one-way. Additionally, Spirit's Free Spirit Silver or Gold elite status members can match into Southwest's Rapid Rewards program with A-List status. The airline expressed, "Southwest looks forward to extending its hospitality to Spirit customers and offers its heartfelt sympathies to Spirit's employees."

JetBlue Airways announced $99 rescue fares for Spirit customers scheduled to fly between now and May 6 on the same or similar routes. Passengers are encouraged to call 1-800-JETBLUE to discuss options. JetBlue also extended its jumpseat agreement for Spirit employees and offered interviews for open roles. CEO Joanna Geraghty remarked, "This is really tough news for the thousands of Spirit team members affected, as well as the customers who were planning trips on Spirit. We want to help fill the void created by this loss." Furthermore, JetBlue plans to cap all Blue Basic fares at $299 on nonstop routes previously served by Spirit to and from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. The airline also announced 11 new destinations out of Fort Lauderdale, launching between July and October, and plans to bolster existing routes.

Frontier Airlines is offering up to 50% off base fares for Spirit flyers who book by May 10 for travel through November 19. The discounts apply to flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays, with a 10% discount available on other days. Bookings must be made at least three weeks in advance. These fares are available across Frontier's entire network, which includes over 100 routes previously flown by Spirit. Chief Commercial Officer Bobby Schroeter stated, "Spirit Airlines played an important role in expanding access to affordable travel and bringing more low fares to more people."
