U.S. to Begin Automatic Military Draft Registration
The U. S. Selective Service System is scheduled to begin automatically registering eligible men for the military draft across the United States.
According to the BBC, this change will shift the current system from self-registration to automatic enrollment by December. CNBC reported that this move follows a congressional mandate requiring the Selective Service System to implement automatic registration. This new process aims to streamline draft registration and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
