Apple unveils new Siri app, Messages suggestions and Calendar AI features in iOS 27

Apple announced that iOS 27 will include a standalone Siri app that stores conversational history in iCloud, allowing users to continue interactions across devices such as Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. > "When users want to revisit a past conversation or kick off a new one, they can open the all-new dedicated Siri app. The Siri app uses iCloud to privately sync conversational history across a user’s products, so they can start chatting with Siri on Mac and continue the conversation on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Apple Vision Pro, bringing together rich conversations in one place," the company said.

The Messages app now offers one-tap suggestions based on conversation context, enabling quick actions like creating reminders, notes, or locating photos that match keywords, locations or people. > "Messages offers one-tap suggestions based on the context of users’ conversations, making it easier than ever to get things done, such as creating a reminder or a note," Apple explained.

Calendar receives a "Smart Event Details" feature that parses natural-language input to automatically fill event title, time, location and invitees. This aims to streamline event creation by reducing manual entry. The update is part of a broader rollout of Apple Intelligence across iOS 27.
