Apple discloses battery capacities for iPhone 18 Pro models
Apple announced that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have 4,056 mAh and 5,391 mAh batteries respectively, marking modest and significant increases over the previous generation.
Apple confirmed the battery sizes of its newly unveiled iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models to meet EU energy-label requirements. The iPhone 18 Pro is equipped with a 4,056 mAh battery, a 1.7% rise from the 3,988 mAh unit in the iPhone 17 Pro. The larger iPhone 18 Pro Max carries a 5,391 mAh battery, representing an 11.7% increase over the 4,823 mAh battery in the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The company noted that the Pro Max variant sees a considerably larger capacity boost than the standard Pro model. Devices sold in most markets retain a physical SIM card tray, while eSIM-only versions will be offered in select regions including the United States, Canada, Japan and several Middle Eastern countries. Apple said the eSIM-only models use a slightly larger battery to occupy the space freed by removing the tray, though exact capacities for those versions have not yet been published.
