A24 to Release New Elizabeth Holmes Documentary "You Can See Everything" in October
A24 announced a three-hour documentary about former Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes, filmed shortly before she began serving her prison sentence, with the filmmakers saying she provided extensive access.
A24 will release a new documentary titled "You Can See Everything" in October. The film, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, was shot in 2023 during the days preceding Elizabeth Holmes' reporting to prison to begin an 11-year sentence for defrauding investors in her blood-testing startup Theranos.
According to a report in The New York Times, Holmes granted the directors extensive access in an effort to clear her name. The three-hour documentary includes conversations between Holmes and Fielder, as well as recreated scenes that aim to illustrate events surrounding the rise and fall of Theranos.
"Why would I deceive you? There's no reason for me to do that," Holmes is heard asking in a close-up interview segment.
Holmes shared the trailer on her social-media account, noting that it contains "mostly my words" and describing herself as "always being real."
The release is expected to attract viewers interested in the high-profile corporate fraud case.
