Boeing 767 cargo plane overruns runway at Miami International Airport

A Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft operated by Amazon crashed on landing at Miami International Airport on Sunday, causing the closure of all runways and taxiways and a ground stop. The Federal Aviation Administration said the flight, identified as Air Flight 7598, overran the runway after arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, at about 2 p.m. ET.

"The FAA will investigate," the agency said in a statement. Airport officials confirmed the disabled aircraft remains on the runway, and authorities are working to clear the site. NBC6 has contacted both the airport and Amazon for comment and will provide updates as the investigation proceeds.
