Alix Earle details fallout with Alex Cooper and personal revelations in Netflix series
In the Netflix reality series “Earl Meets World,” influencer Alix Earle discusses her split from Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network, a past relationship with NFL player Braxton Berrios, and a family health scare involving the BRCA2 gene.
Influencer Alix Earle uses her new Netflix series “Earl Meets World” to recount a contentious departure from Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network, where she worked from 2023 to 2025. Earle says she felt “betrayed” after Cooper allegedly encouraged her to drink before recording a September 2023 episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast and then refused to edit comments she found uncomfortable.
"I felt like she took advantage of my admiration of her," Earle said in the series, adding that she had viewed Cooper as a mentor.
Earle also describes how a discussion about her stepmother Ashley Dupré’s past on the podcast caused family tension, and she expresses regret for the impact of that interview. She recounts being intimidated by Cooper and fearing retaliation, which delayed her public comments about the dispute.
The show also touches on Earle’s personal life, including her former relationship with NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios. Earle describes Berrios as her first serious love but says the couple drifted apart due to demanding careers and limited communication. The series ends with a phone call to Berrios, leaving the possibility of reconciliation open.
When asked about rumored involvement with former quarterback Tom Brady, Earle responded that she was “having fun” and declined to comment further.
In a separate segment, Earle and her sister Ashtin reveal that both tested positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation after their mother Alisa was diagnosed with breast cancer. The sisters describe the emotional difficulty of the diagnosis but emphasize their commitment to facing the health challenges together.
