Friends of Jennifer Aniston divided over boyfriend Jim Curtis

摘要

Jennifer Aniston's inner circle is split on her relationship with hypnotist Jim Curtis, with some friends expressing caution while others are supportive.

Jennifer Aniston's close friends are reportedly split on her romance with hypnotist and transformational coach Jim Curtis. One source told Page Six that some friends are hesitant, fearing Curtis could be an opportunist and appear performative, and that they are protective of Aniston and do not want her taken advantage of. The source added that the actress's friends generally want the best for her and would be happy if she is content.

Another insider said a portion of Aniston's circle has embraced Curtis, describing him as a good fit for the group and noting that they have not seen the actress this happy in a long time. Those friends reportedly wish the couple well.

Aniston and Curtis have become more public about their relationship, appearing together onstage at New York City's 92nd Street Y, where she interviewed him about his new book, "The Book of Possibility." During the interview, Curtis discussed health challenges he faced in his twenties, including spinal cord lesions that left him partially paralyzed and dealing with chronic nerve pain. Aniston made a light-hearted joke about a childhood dodgeball game, prompting laughter from the audience, and later asked Curtis if she had embarrassed him, to which he replied, "A lot."

Curtis said the pair met through mutual friends, initially talking before their friendship turned romantic. Aniston made the relationship public on Instagram in November 2025, sharing a photo of herself with Curtis on his birthday and later describing him as "very special, very normal and very kind."

Representatives for Aniston and Curtis did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
