Apple Watch Ultra 3 to Feature Advanced Health Monitoring and Enhanced Connectivity

Apple is set to unveil the Apple Watch Ultra 3 at its event on September 9, 2025. The new model is anticipated to offer significant health monitoring advancements, including a hypertension detection system that monitors blood pressure trends and provides early warnings for potential health concerns.

In terms of connectivity, the Ultra 3 is expected to feature satellite messaging capabilities, enabling users to send text messages via satellite when cellular or Wi-Fi connections are unavailable. Additionally, the inclusion of MediaTek’s RedCap modem will bring 5G connectivity to the device, offering faster data speeds with low power consumption.

The Ultra 3 will also benefit from watchOS 26, which introduces features such as the wrist flick gesture for dismissing notifications and silencing alerts, and Live Translation in Messages, allowing automatic translation of incoming texts into the user’s preferred language.

These enhancements position the Apple Watch Ultra 3 as a comprehensive tool for health monitoring and communication, particularly for users in remote or challenging environments.
