Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce bought an 8-bedroom historic lakefront property in Bratenahl, Ohio, for $5.35 million, below the original asking price.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce paid $5.35 million for an 8-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom lakefront estate in Bratenahl, Ohio, according to property records. The 21,140-square-foot home, built in 1895, includes multiple fireplaces, a media room, a five-car garage, and a resort-style pool and spa. It is situated near Cleveland and close to a private airport, offering convenient travel options for the athlete and his wife.

The property was previously owned by Figurati Construction Group, which bought it for $1.95 million in 2023 and listed it for $6.99 million in 2024 before reducing the price to $5.99 million in May 2025. Kelce secured the purchase at $5.35 million, $1.64 million less than the original asking price. The sale was handled by David Ayers and Nick Zawitz of The Agency Cleveland, who said, "We’re thrilled for the new owners and so excited for Cleveland."

The estate is located a few miles from Cleveland Heights, where Kelce grew up with his brother Jason. The Bratenahl area features a range of homes, with current listings between $250,000 and $2.4 million. Kelce also maintains a primary residence in Leawood, Kansas, where he bought a 17,000-square-foot mansion in 2023.

Separately, Kelce and singer Taylor Swift recently confirmed the addition of a Samoyed dog to their family and were married at Madison Square Garden. Their wedding details, including attire and guest list, were disclosed in separate reports, but are not directly related to the real-estate transaction.
