Leaked renders suggest new camera design for Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra

Resumen

Leaked case renders show Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S27 lineup may include a Pro model and a new raised camera module on the Pro and Ultra phones, with the Ultra retaining 5x optical zoom.

Leaked protective-case renders shared by leaker Ice Universe provide a first look at Samsung's expected Galaxy S27 series for 2027. The images show four devices – the standard S27, S27+, S27 Pro and S27 Ultra – each fitting a distinct case design that aligns with recent design leaks of the upcoming lineup.

The base S27 and S27+ appear to retain the same overall silhouette as the 2026 models, suggesting continuity in the series' design language. In contrast, the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra feature a new, raised camera housing that resembles the “camera plateau” seen on recent iPhone models.

"Whether Samsung will use this raised plateau to fit in more hardware, as Apple does on its latest iPhones, is unclear," the leaker noted.

Analysts speculate the elevated module could be purely aesthetic, but it may also accommodate additional components. The Ultra is expected to keep a 5× optical zoom capability, while the Pro may lack this feature, according to recent reports.

Samsung has not confirmed any specifications, and the company typically announces its flagship phones in January or February. The next Galaxy Unpacked event, expected early next year, should provide official details.
