Blake Lively spotted in New York with husband and sister after court decision on lawsuit
Actress Blake Lively was seen in Manhattan with husband Ryan Reynolds and sister Robyn Lively following a judge's ruling that reduced the attorneys' fees awarded in her dispute with actor Justin Baldoni.
Blake Lively was photographed walking in New York City on Friday night accompanied by her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her sister, Robyn Lively. The actress wore brown overalls over a black tank top, loafers and gold jewelry, while Reynolds wore a gray sweater, black pants and a newsboy cap and Robyn dressed in denim.
The outing comes two days after a judge reduced the attorneys' fees and costs that Lively could recover from former co-star Justin Baldoni. The court ordered Baldoni to pay Lively $363,245.40 in attorneys' fees and $44,206.35 in litigation expenses, far less than the $7.5 million she had sought.
"The case was never about money – it was about accountability," Lively’s lawyers Esra Hudson and Michael Gottlieb said in a statement.
"The ruling is a significant victory for my clients and sends a clear message that, no matter how powerful you may be, the courtroom is not a place to take advantage of the law for your own personal gain," Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman told reporters.
Baldoni, who has denied the allegations, posted a brief video on Instagram in July with his wife, Emily Baldoni, saying the matter should be allowed to run its course in the justice system.
Lively and Baldoni had originally filed lawsuits against each other in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment and countersuing. After most of Lively’s claims were dismissed, the parties settled the case two weeks before a scheduled trial in May, with no monetary exchange reported.
Reynolds previously told viewers on a television program in April that he was extremely proud of Lively’s efforts in the legal battle.
