Bailey posted a statement on social media expressing support for Grande and praising co-star Marianne, before saying he had decided to step back from the production. The production, staged by Empire Street Productions at London’s Barbican Centre, had been slated for a summer 2027 opening. Ticket sales had been postponed pending Grande’s touring schedule, which ends on Sept. 1 at the O2 Arena. With both lead performers now out, the future casting and timeline for the show remain uncertain.
