Resumen

The Eagles announced the signing of 13 players to their practice squad, including several running backs, defensive linemen and a wide receiver, while additional signings are pending official confirmation.

Philadelphia announced on Monday that it has signed 13 players to its 2026 practice squad, with a few additional names reported but not yet confirmed by the team. The roster moves include running backs Dameon Pierce, a former fourth-round pick who spent time on the Chiefs’ practice squad, and Carson Steele, noted for his versatility in the preseason. The team also added former Texas running back Jaydon Blue, who was selected by the Cowboys in the fifth round of the 2025 draft and is joining the squad after a brief NFL stint.

Wide receiver Britain Covey, the team's leading punt and kick returner, was among the signings. Offensive line depth was bolstered by former Yale tackle Kiran Amegadjie, who was a third-round pick by the Bears in 2024, and interior linemen Jake Majors and John Ojukwu, the latter having nine career NFL starts.

Defensive additions feature edge rushers Keyshawn James-Newby, Mason Reiger and Joshua Weru, as well as interior defensive linemen Gabe Hall and International Player Pathway prospects Uar Bernard and Joshua Weru. Linebacker Chance Campbell, a 2022 sixth-round pick who has dealt with multiple injuries, also joined the practice squad.

Safety Cole Wisniewski and undrafted rookie safety Maximus Pulley were included among the defensive backs. The Eagles indicated that some of the newly signed players could be called up to the active roster during the season, depending on injuries and performance.

"We are pleased to bring these players into our organization and look forward to evaluating them throughout the season," a team spokesperson said.
