Actor Scott Wolf backs estranged wife after she cites drug-induced psychosis
Scott Wolf expressed support for his estranged wife Kelley, who posted an apology and said she suffered drug-induced mania with psychosis last year, while the couple continues to navigate a contentious divorce.
Scott Wolf responded to his estranged wife Kelley Wolf’s Instagram apology with a brief show of support, posting a series of heart emojis. In the post, Kelley disclosed that a mental-health crisis last year was triggered by a mix of stress, past trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens and prescription medication, which she described as "drug-induced mania with psychosis." She apologized to Wolf and their three children — sons Jackson, 17, Miller, 13, and daughter Lucy, 12 — and said her earlier public statements were not based in reality.
The couple’s dispute became public after Kelley was arrested for harassment in August and later placed on a psychiatric hold. Wolf previously told People that Kelley had indicated plans to make false claims against him in court and in the media, and he said he would share text messages to clarify her intentions.
Despite filing for divorce in June 2025, the parents reunited with their children for a family trip to Universal Studios Hollywood in February, with Wolf saying they are working to rebuild their family dynamics.
"I am now choosing to come forward and share that she has described to me her plans to ‘make claims’ about me, although she also admitted, ‘I do not believe they’re true,’ in order to gain an advantage in what she sees as a ‘battle’ in court, and in the court of public opinion," Wolf said.
"While I would never have wanted anything to have been made public, I guess it just felt like our family deserved to have things not just sit in some kind of awful dark place in terms of perception," Wolf added.
