Kelley Wolf Issues Public Apology After Citing Drug-Induced Mania

Resumen

Former reality TV star Kelley Wolf posted an 11-part Instagram apology, attributing her past behavior to a drug-induced manic episode with psychosis and thanking her family and community for their support.

Kelley Wolf, a former reality-TV participant and executive coach, posted an extensive Instagram apology on Aug. 28, addressing ex-husband Scott Wolf, their three children and the Utah community where the family resides. She said she had been experiencing what she described as "breakthrough drug-induced mania with psychosis," which she linked to a combination of stress, past trauma, hormonal changes and the use of hallucinogens alongside prescribed medication.

Wolf wrote that the condition led to delusional thoughts, including believing she was "in the CIA" and "running for President," and caused her to act and speak in ways she now calls "cruel" and "vicious." She said she has spent the past year receiving treatment from doctors, therapists and psychologists.

"I am so sorry. The things I did, said, wrote and posted caused profound harm and were not based in truth or reality," she wrote in the carousel.

The post also referenced prior legal actions: Wolf was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in June 2025, faced a restraining order that was later withdrawn, and was arrested in August 2025 on suspicion of electronic harassment after posting personal information online. She was subsequently barred from contacting Scott or the children and was admitted to a mental-health facility later that year.

In February 2026, the couple and their children were seen together at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, where Scott Wolf told PEOPLE the family was "healing" and emphasized a commitment to honesty and love.

Wolf concluded her message by thanking the Park City community for its support and expressing a desire to "pay it forward" and focus on the well-being of her children.
