A report from Macwelt, the German counterpart to Macworld, says a reliable source indicates that pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro will start on Saturday, September 12, instead of the typical Friday, September 11. The source also suggests that the opening time could be midnight Pacific Time, rather than the usual 5 a.m. PT.
Macwelt previously misreported the release date of the iPhone 17e, so while the September 12 date appears plausible, the exact timing may still be uncertain. Apple’s official announcement and full product details are expected within two weeks of the event.
