Angel Reese Sets Two WNBA Rebounding Records in Atlanta Dream Victory Over Los Angeles

Resumen

Angel Reese recorded a league-record 26 rebounds and broke the single-season total rebounds mark as the Atlanta Dream defeated the Los Angeles Sparks 78-71.

Angel Reese posted a historic performance for the Atlanta Dream, collecting 26 rebounds—a WNBA single-game record—and raising her season total to 458, surpassing the previous single-season mark. The rebound surge helped the Dream secure a 78-71 win over the Los Angeles Sparks, extending their winning streak to four games.

Reese secured the season-record rebound with 6:17 left in the fourth quarter, overtaking A'ja Wilson's 2024 total of 451. Her 26-board effort also eclipsed Chamique Holdsclaw's 24 rebounds, the most in a game since 2003.

"That's a talent," Dream guard Allisha Gray said, expressing admiration for Reese's rebounding ability.

The victory moved Atlanta to a 25-13 record, keeping them in fourth place in the playoff race, half a game behind the Las Vegas Aces for the third seed.
